The Human Element of Trading Binaries

Verses Mechanical Trading?

Lets start here by being perfectly honest, there is NO SUCH THING as a machine that will do all your trading for you? At some point you will have to intervene like letting it know how much you can afford to loose, and loose you will.

Can you imagine someone creating a machine that will guarantee you a win 100% of the time? It's just not possible and if it was we would all be incredibly rich and I would have to find another avenue for blogging.

There are a lot of bot's on the internet you don't have to look far to find one. I am sure that some can make you money? 

However a good friend of mine pointed me to this analogy it's called "The Clock on the wall Trading" 

This is how it goes:-

Everyday you sit down at you computer at the same time each day. You choose a pair to trade on, lets say the GBP/USD  for arguments sake.

Now here is the clever part. At 3.00 everyday you place a sell trade on the pair. 

Don't deviate. Everyday you do the same At 03.00 GBP/USD  sell. 

Guess what some days you win. You are not looking at the news or using indicators you are doing nothing technical? 

Just placing the same trade at the same time of day and you win, but of course some days you loose.

The odd's are 50/50 but you do win.

Now lets look at the bot's? Most will look at the trend and then within so many pips get you to place the trade, they doing nothing more than that? 

Really it is nothing more than taking a look at the clock on the wall. The odds are about the same.

Following a trend (remembering that the trend is your friend) is a good indicator of where the trade is going over an hour or in the course of a day or week. However let me show you something. 

 ONE DAY TREND

  

ONE HOUR TREND

15 MINUTE TREND

These are pictures of the same pair without support and resistance. Compare the movement trend from each? You get a pretty good idea of the trend in the daily? Whereas the hourly is also on a trend but not so pronounced and the 15 Minutes overall is 50/50.  

Now this is where the human element comes in, remember the markets are run by humans with all our faults and emotions we are not robot's. So when it comes to news the market makers interpret it on how they think it is going to go at that time. 

A bot does not have this human element and relies on previous facts before that time. It does not speculate and cannot take into account the sudden market swings because a well know person tweets something or there is some other type of news release.

I had a bit of time on my hands this morning so checked out a few posts (adverts) online. What I did notice apart from the fact that a HUGE amount of adverts were blatantly scams, is that many people had obviously not thought through the content? Or the adverts were so outlandish that I find it hard to believe that people would look at them let alone click on them. I also noticed a lot of people complaining about getting scammed? Which got me thinking? Why don't people check out these companies out thoroughly?

I know I have said it before and I will say it again? I don't understand why some people go from one shiny object to the next without stepping back and asking questions before parting with their money.

There are a few honest and transparent companies. (I am not saying that every company that advertises on line is scamming people). However one big learning curve for me was to realize that you need to find things out for yourself and not be led by the blind? The trick is to learn when things don't feel right.

If you cannot contact the company directly (not just the person who is promoting it?) Or if they don't answer your emails personally but send you a generic email back, forget them and move on. There is a shed load of things that should ring alarm bells don't get taken in by lame facts and figures? It's your money after all.

To be honest there are many points to look for and yet people don't?
They don't research the company they listen to the hype? Be it from MLM companies people selling on ebay or amazon?

You had better believe it.

Slowly, but surely trading is becoming more and more popular with the work from homers.

People have started to realise that MLM is costing them not only their money but also their precious time.  

Not only that but-

Family and friends see them coming with yet another NEW shiney MLM scam that they will try to sell to them? They must be feeling sorry for their gullibility and thinking "Not another one" but possibly purchase whatever to pacify them. Sad I know but true.

Working MLM does not give you more time with your family in fact I think you will find it does quite the opposite. I know that from personal experience.

What YOU Can Do When YOU are Busy Doing Other Things

This is What I Did and You Can Too

I had a Busy morning at home, school run, mowed the lawn, did housework being a stay at home dad and decorated for Halloween.

I Managed about 11 five minute trades thanks to the Dex alarm setting on the indicator.

So in about 3 hours this morning whilst doing everything else I made just over $141.00 not too shabby. Now if I had not had to go out for the afternoon well that's another story. But with that said I had only put one contract on each trade had I put on 2-3 or even 4 well the results speak for themselves.

This week I decided to try the 5 minute indicator from Dex Indicators.

Holy Cow I took a Massive loss on my first 3 trades?

Why? Because I thought I knew better than their training. 

I had followed their training but thought yep BUT if I do this instead? 

Why would I do that? 

Because I have done it before?

What I had forgot was NO I have not done this before because it is their indicator and their training not mine.

Lesson learnt. 

This is how I got on. As in everything there are natural losses however some were mistakes I made.
