Trading, Know when to spot the trend.

THE TREND IS YOUR FRIEND

NEVER A TRUER WORD SAID WHEN TRADING BE IT BINARY OPTIONS OF FOREX

The Trend:-
This is probably one of the most fundamental basic strategies out there. If you have been looking at trading be it forex or whatever you will have read about "following the trend" on many websites and books. The reason why is because this strategy works it can be traded on any time frame, any currency pair, long-term, medium-term, even scalping. 

Traders who use this strategy simply jump on the trend when they have perceived that a trend has established and ride it. If there is a turn contrary to the trend, they exit and wait until the turn establishes itself as a trend in the opposite direction. In other words they jump on a trend and then exit the trend when market turn against them to minimise losses and maximise profit.

No it's not, just not understood.

Here is my take on this highly popular strategy.

Now as simple as it sounds you do need to understand a few things:-
1. What a trend is and how to spot one.
2. How to determine the trend direction.
4. When to get in.
3. How to exit the trade 

So in a nut shell that is basically it, I make it sounds easy don't I?  So the big question is "if it is that easy then why do people loose?"  

Well lets take a look at a few things. First of all though we will ignore the individual as every ones perception is an individual perception of the same thing and differ.

So what is a trend?

We have three different trends as seen above

Lets get started. If you are quite new to trading I would suggest you learn how to evaluate the trend using a top down method ie. using the Daily, four hourly one hourly, 30 minutes and 15 minutes (D1, H4, H1, M30 and M15 ). Using the top down method is by far the best way of spotting the overall trend.  

Now that all sounds fine and dandy however there are a few other things to remember like what length of trade are you looking at? is it short (5 minutes to a couple of hours) or is it long, also the news forecast always expect the unexpected.

You can forget about all those hundreds of indicators that people go on about. Trend following is not based on the Fibonacci etc. 
Trend following uses a straightforward and reactive method. Remember there are so many different types of trades but we are looking at the short term trends and as such we only use two indicators.

However having said that don’t fixate on the technical indicators used in any trend following system. they are important, but not the key, it’s a tool that's all, you need the human element and that is you. There is no Indicator that is going to give you a 100% win rate as I said they are a tool from your box not the kit.

So you spot a trend, get in on a trade, good for you but when do you exit? Well with that I can't help you, that would be down to the individual and how they perceive the trend? Will it correct it's self? Could it be just be a reaction to the thrust? Or is the reaction going to continue and become a thrust?

ACCOUNT MANAGERS DON'T LIE OR DO THEY?

How Many Times Have You Seen an Advert That Says "I Lost thousands but Thank God I found Mr x. He saved me and now I don't have to worry about money. Or things like It saddens my Heart etc etc.

Well now I have tried to find profiles of these mysterious Mr X's or Mr Smiths, Mr Jones or Mr what ever their name is and can never find one?

What I do know is that the person who has placed the advert also has a very limited profile that generally has nothing to do with Binary Trading. However they will chat with you on messenger or whats app and tell you how great this person is at handling their money and making them thousands of Dollars in a week. 
All you have to do send them your money (normally about $300-$750) and you too can have Thousands of Dollars a week.

Why so small an amount? Well that is because even the poorest among us will find away to get it especially if the rewards promised are so good. 

HOWEVER You will never see your profit not a dime and when you contact them they are full of BS excuses and try to extort more money from you and if you don't they suddenly become uncontactable. Oh Surprise surprise.

Don't get me wrong there are a few reputable Account Managers out there, but you are rarely going to find them advertising through a third party in the media such as Facebook.

You need to do your research and do it thoroughly leave no stone unturned, don't believe the hype get the facts from as many people and resources as is possible. 

Google search them, but don't believe all you read if the page sends you to another Trusted Account Manager telling you that the one you are inquiring about is a sham or scam because as sure as eggs are eggs they will scam you as well.

I have come to the conclusion that if you want to be involved in the Binary markets and make money is to do it yourself.

Many say they just don't have the time to learn the tricks of the trade. But believe me there are no tricks to trading and it does not have to be complicated. It is down to training, learning and practicing. Obviously doing it all in demo until you feel comfortable to trade live and then only in small doses.

How very true, there are a lot of people around who feel that the world owes them.

Owes them what exactly?

I remember in my youth watching a news program (I don't recall which one) Where a teenager was sitting with his father and the presenter was asking the teen why did he feel that he didn't need to get a job?

The boys answer was simple and to the point. " I was not asked to be born so why should I."

What stuck in my mind was not my fathers angry out burst at the television! But the total arrogance and lack of respect the teen had towards his father and the establishment.

I  reflect back to that time and look at the world today and think WOW how many others are doing just what he had said back then. Everyone seems to want something for nothing, few are prepared to work for their dreams and yet expect the world.

However you cant rely on the word of others either. I know that from personal experience having been let down on several occasions even from trusted sources. People have their own agendas and sometimes you only fit in when it helps or suits them.

What I'm getting to is 
DREAMS DON'T WORK UNLESS YOU YOU DO. 
You have to do it yourself. 

When it comes to trading this is something that you really have to do yourself. You need to learn, learn and learn. However you need to find a reputable company that are willing to teach you and then you need to practice, practice and practice. You can't rely on others to trade for you and certainly do not trust most so called account managers offering great rewards with guarantees?

YES SOMETHINGS DO NEED TO BE REITERATED WHEN TRADING

Binary traders, trading binarys.

Everyone gets complacent at times especially when they are winning. However complacency can be everyone's downfall at times.

I know this from personal experience. 

You are winning doing really well then you get complacent, you forget little things, you make mistakes, you panic because you are now loosing money? But rather than walk away and revalue what you are doing you plow on and loose more MONEY.

You need to STOP! 

Walk away and Re evaluate what you are doing go back through the basics.
