The Human Element of Trading Binaries

Verses Mechanical Trading?

Lets start here by being perfectly honest, there is NO SUCH THING as a machine that will do all your trading for you? At some point you will have to intervene like letting it know how much you can afford to loose, and loose you will.

Can you imagine someone creating a machine that will guarantee you a win 100% of the time? It's just not possible and if it was we would all be incredibly rich and I would have to find another avenue for blogging.

There are a lot of bot's on the internet you don't have to look far to find one. I am sure that some can make you money? 

However a good friend of mine pointed me to this analogy it's called "The Clock on the wall Trading" 

This is how it goes:-

Everyday you sit down at you computer at the same time each day. You choose a pair to trade on, lets say the GBP/USD  for arguments sake.

Now here is the clever part. At 3.00 everyday you place a sell trade on the pair. 

Don't deviate. Everyday you do the same At 03.00 GBP/USD  sell. 

Guess what some days you win. You are not looking at the news or using indicators you are doing nothing technical? 

Just placing the same trade at the same time of day and you win, but of course some days you loose.

The odd's are 50/50 but you do win.

Now lets look at the bot's? Most will look at the trend and then within so many pips get you to place the trade, they doing nothing more than that? 

Really it is nothing more than taking a look at the clock on the wall. The odds are about the same.

Following a trend (remembering that the trend is your friend) is a good indicator of where the trade is going over an hour or in the course of a day or week. However let me show you something. 

 ONE DAY TREND

15 MINUTE TREND

These are pictures of the same pair without support and resistance. Compare the movement trend from each? You get a pretty good idea of the trend in the daily? Whereas the hourly is also on a trend but not so pronounced and the 15 Minutes overall is 50/50.  

Now this is where the human element comes in, remember the markets are run by humans with all our faults and emotions we are not robot's. So when it comes to news the market makers interpret it on how they think it is going to go at that time. 

A bot does not have this human element and relies on previous facts before that time. It does not speculate and cannot take into account the sudden market swings because a well know person tweets something or there is some other type of news release.

HOW CAN YOU TELL A LEGITIMATE COMPANY FROM A SCAM

This has to be one of the most asked Questions?

So how DO you tell a Legitimate company from a scammy one?

Especially binary trades companies. 

First of all don't believe everything you read online. I can assure you from personal experience that there are many scam web pages that will tell you to beware of certain companies yet have no proof or facts either good or bad about the company.

The fact is that many of these web pages that tell you that they are trying to save you from yourself by not joining them. What you will notice however is that whilst they are setting the seed of doubt in your mind they are at the same time promoting another company that they are getting a commission from. So it is in their best interest to sow the seed of doubt.

Having said that they don't slander or say that they know for a fact that a company is a scam, the reason for that is obvious lawyers are expensive, so subtle hints and the seed of doubt works wonders.

Dex Trader for example a well know popular signals, indicator and training company uses various companies in their training videos. They do not however receive any form of payment and are not affiliated to them in any way. As Maxx (one of the owners) would say "We have to be squeaky clean, honest and transparent with integrity."

When a good friend of mine went public with this I realised how little I know about the condition or it's effects on the person or their family.

Most of us are so wrapped up in our perfect or not so perfect lives that we don't see the struggle that others are going through? But behind their smile is a struggle and pain but a love that shines so bright leaving us all unaware of the fight they have day in day out 24/7.

My friend wrote this and I feel that I have to take time out and share this with you

I’ve spent most of my life avoiding help. I now realise that’s more stupidity than pride. But now I do need help. And no, this is not a copy & share chain post.

I’ve just read another story of a child suicide related to bullying of someone with a special need and I can't sit back & just tut with sadness.

As most of you will know, 2 of my 3 children have special needs. These include OCD, ADHD and Tourette Syndrome. People often joke about these (invisible) conditions – I know I do – but do people actually understand how difficult these conditions are to cope with? 

My 2 have to handle their conditions every minute of every hour of every day. It is debilitating to the point they will likely never live a ‘normal’ healthy life like most of us will. Their days range from intense anxiety as they wake, to (for Sophie) a day full of rituals she must undertake otherwise her feelings become dark. Yes dark! For the whole part, I love that you perhaps only see Sophie when she’s smiling or singing – boy she lives to sing. But like she said to us a few years ago “... but I’m always crying inside”.

Yes, it can be tough at times for me & Sarah as parents but it never ever leaves the kids. They’re the ones who really do suffer.

Today, I heard more sad news. That the Tourettes Association of NZ is struggling to stay active due to funding. There is a real possibility they may fold. This may not mean much to many, but I know the effect this will have on so many families in New Zealand. For example the TS Camp the kids attend every year or 2 will disappear as will the incredible support that is given to some really struggling parents – I’m worried as I’m often one of those parents. There’s one heck of a lady out there called Robyn Twemlow who with help from some other amazing parents props up the NZ community of TS families.
